Senior Advisor
John has over 20 years of legal experience focused on special situation investing, turnaround management and corporate work-out scenarios. John started his career by litigating principals from failed Savings and Loans for the FDIC in the early 90’s. He went on to structure large commercial real estate transactions and developed an expertise in the Senior Housing and Assisted Living sector. Currently, John focuses on work-out programs for distressed situations by negotiating with banks and investors to protect the owner’s and/or developers interests. He serves corporate clients, large real estate and corporate development projects.
John received his under graduate degree form the University of Virginia and his law degree form Boston College School of Law where he was student body president and on the Boston College International Law Review. John is admitted to practice law in New York & Washington, DC and is a resident in Transact’s New York office.
